Gold Slips Students
are given gold slips by any staff member who wants to reward a student
for: helping in the classroom or around

and other behaviors that demonstrate excellence. The students in each classroom put their gold
slips into a jar and on every Friday two student names are chosen from the jar
to come to the office for prizes. Marking Period Awards At the end of each marking period an awards assembly is held to honor student achievement. The following awards are presented:

goals, hard work, and determination either in their own work or as tutors,
mentors, or classroom helpers. Most
