Students are identified for the Gifted and Talented program using many criteria, to include:  testing, teacher and parent inventories, recommendations and achievement tests.  The G/T program works with small groups of identified students to enrich and extend the classroom curriculum.  This program allows advanced learners the opportunity to work in small groups with fellow students where there is “emphasis on higher level thinking skills, vocabulary development, logic and problem solving.”
