Whiteman Elementary is nestled in the 451 Newport Street Denver, CO 80220 (303) 355-7333 FAX: (720) 424-3125 Our school year runs from August 20th through May 29th. Student School Hours: The school day is from 9:00 am to 3:45 pm. Class Offerings: ECE through 5th Grade AM and PM ECE AM and Full-Day Kindergarten Special Education Centers and Resource Room TNLI (ELA-S), ELA-E, and ESL Resource Room Gifted and Talented Enrichment Program Specials Classes Extended Day Program: Our Fit Fun after-school program runs from 3:45-6:00 pm daily. Overview: Whiteman Elementary is a small, richly
diverse school of approximately 270 students. Our school is dedicated to “…nurturing
the genius and creativity that resides in every child” through a rigorous
standards-based curriculum of core subjects enriched with opportunities in the
visual arts, vocal and instrumental music, drama, library skills, information literacy and
