Mission Statement
Whiteman is a school that embraces the individuality of students of all
cultural backgrounds by offering a rigorous standards-based curriculum where
core subjects (math, science, social studies, and literacy) are enriched with
international studies and related wrap-around discovery opportunities in the
arts and technology. Parents/guardians
and community members are empowered to support the school’s vision. Students attending Whiteman will: be able to read, write, speak, and understand
English; learn to respect themselves and others; and through exposure to
international studies, gain an understanding and appreciation of the uniqueness
of people from the many cultures that inhabit our world. Whiteman’s safe, nurturing environment and
diverse population will provide students with an opportunity to acquire both
the academic and life skills necessary to make them contributing citizens and
enlightened future leaders.
