Location and Map

        Whiteman Elementary is located at 451 Newport Street in the Mayfair Park

neighborhood of Denver. We sit in a little oval space between Niagra Street and

Newport Street and between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue.   Major Streets near us

are Monaco Parkway to the west, 6th Avenue Parkway to the north, Quebec Street

to the east, and 1st Avenue to the south. We are so snuggled in the neighborhood

that we are sometimes hard to find. Please refer to the map below.

To get to Whiteman from Sixth Avenue heading East:

Turn right on Magnolia Street (which is the 1^st street after Monaco).

Go to the stop sign and turn left. (This is 5^th Ave. though it isn’t marked.)

Turn right on the first street on your right. (This isn’t marked.)

You should see the school. Take the left-hand loop to the front of the building.

To get to Whiteman from Sixth Avenue heading West:

Go past Quebec Street heading west until you reach Oneida Street.

Turn left on Oneida. Follow Oneida across the other side of 6^th Ave. into the neighborhood.

Take the right-hand fork off of Oneida. (You will be on 5^th Ave. though it isn’t marked).

Go to the second street on your left and turn left. You’ll see the school.

Follow the left-hand loop to the front of the building.
