Over 50% of Whiteman students are English language learners.  We offer an extensive English Language Acquisition program:

We have TNLI (Transitional Native Language Instruction) for Spanish speaking students whose parents have selected Option 1 on the ELA Parent Permission Form.

ELA-E classrooms for students whose parents have selected Option 2 on the ELA Parent Permission Form.

ESL Resource newcomer program for other language speakers (not Spanish) who are new to the country.

We also have a Bi-lingual Parent Association for ESL parents.
