Curriculum
Overview Whiteman offers a rigorous
standards-based curriculum where core subjects (math, science, social studies,
and literacy) are enriched with international studies and related wrap-around
discovery opportunities in the visual arts, drama, vocal and instrumental music
and technology. In addition, Whiteman
offers English language acquisition material in ELA-S, ELA-E, and Newcomer
Resource classes. Center programs and
resource classes for special education students and a gifted and talented pull-out
classroom present the curriculum according to the needs of the student.
